Invite question

When you're doing your invites do you put a period after Mr/Mrs?

Like would it be:

Mr Sunday
and Guest

or

Mr. Sunday
and Guest

Same with married couples is it:

Mr. and Mrs. Sunday

or

Mr and Mrs Sunday?

Re: Invite question

  • Yes there is a period after Mr. and/or Mrs. (and Dr., Fr., Rev., Ms.) The only title where no period is required is Miss.
  • It is an abbreviation for Mister and Missus so agree with PP on the "." needing to be there!
