Weekly checks!

Ahhh, ladies we are getting so close! It's going to be daily checks before we know it  lol. 

THIS PAST WEEK

Um, don't follow me lead, but I did absolutely nothing wedding related this past week. I was supposed to get my invites weighed, buy stamps, and assemble them and address them. None of this happened. Oppppps. 

THIS UPCOMING WEEK

Well, FI are on vacation this week. We're in CT right now for a golf tourny, and we're headed to Boston, Rhode Island, and Bristol later in the week. Needless to say, nothing is going to get done lol. I've set a hard deadline to get my invites out by July 14th, and at this rate it's going to be day-of.

this past week:
-got my garter in the mail
-sent invites!!
-have a hair trial today so i'll count that as part of this week
-decided not to rent a/v equipment/will just use our own for the slideshow
-ordered BM gifts
-turned in baptism & confirmation certificates
-worked on program design, i think i'm almost done

this coming week:
-still haven't spraypainted the birdcages
-decide & book hair&makeup (after this trial)
-finish booking HM activities (bike ride & zipline)

Last week:

- Helped mom find her MoB dress (link)

- Bought something to use as a card box

- Got frames for table numbers

- Found some cute little plant pots that I want to find a use for. Bought 4 for now but may get more.

- Ordered my wedding jewelry!!!

- Had invitations weighed and bought stamps

Today:

- Figure out the flower plan with my mom

- Try on dress with long line bra and shoes to get an idea of what kind of alterations are needed

This week:

- Email friend an unofficial save the date

- Bug friend again for seamstress info

- Try to schedule first fitting

- Download more music for reception

- Possibly work on something for programs

I'm getting ready to leave to go to my 1st dress fitting!!!! Exciting!
Last week:
-Finally found a wedding band and ordered it!
-Ordered a few gifts on Etsy
-Went to a couple of different RD sites with FILs and decided on one
-Went to our ceremony/reception venue again and took pics so I could remember details for decorations

This week:
-Schedule time to meet with florist
-Schedule E-pics
-Figure out more gifts for WP, MOB, etc.
-Work on figuring out reception songs
-Sketch out some ceremony ideas!! We've really been slacking on figuring out the actual ceremony!
-Attempt some DIY projects

Last Week:

- ordered my invites

- finalized cake details with the bakery

- the week before i ordered my FG basket from etsy and placed an order with TK for part of the BMs gifts and parasols for pictures. i didn't play last week so i'm including them here, lol

This Week:

- order swimsuits from VS for the HM

- research luggage for the HM (we worked on this today a little bit)

- start gathering Michael's coupons so i can start buying the stuff to make my card box

- get one more address i need and then pass the shower guest list off to my MOH

-Ordered grooms/groomesmen suits
-Booked FIJI
- Had another dance lesson
-bought my Mom a bracelet and earrings
- bought the bridesmaids their own flip flops to wear
-bought the "card box"
-finished grooms men accessories (unless we decide to do pocket squares)

NEXT WEEK

-start turbo fire again
-another dance class
-not much else because I have to work, then its my birthday on friday, so taking some relaxing time off of wedding stuff

Last week: - printed and prepared shower invites
                   - went with mom to pick out a shower cake.
                   - scheduled fitting with tailor
                   - Found out that BM DRESSES WERE ORDERED! YAY!
                   - cut log for base of centerpieces... just need to cut the actual pieces now.

This week: - Going for fitting
                   - MAYBE get around to ordering invites.
                   - Finish cutting logs for centerpieces, and maybe assemble some.

Last week:
-Got moms' hankies in the mail...they are perfect!  And the Etsy seller made me one too for free!
-Finished cutting out my "Reserved" stencil (have stencils but were too big or too small for the size board I want to put it on so made my own via cardstock and Word)
-Started to clean up for the guests I have staying with me for this weekend for my Bachelorette/Bridal shower!

This week:
-Finish reserved signs
-finish cleaning for BP/BS
-get FI to start working on ceremony music

I created a weekly calendar of "to-dos" for the next 2-3 months to help me stay on track (and keep me sane lol) and I'm doing well so far

Last week:
Finished ALL the invitations (even all the extras) and sent them out
Revised the wedsite
Finished ALL the kissing balls
made my son's cufflinks
completed my "tears of joy" kleenex pack sample/template
finished my day-of time-line/schedule
scheduled the rehearsal
ordered the rehearsal dinner invitations
scheduled a meeting with the organist to determine song list for ceremony
prepared our marriage license documents (going to city hall next week)


This Week:
Get the photo cd from photog
Complete wedding party button-up shirts (I have mine and my mother's to complete)
Start toying with the seating arrangements
Work on Thank You luminaries design
Trace "tears of joy" packages on vellum paper/cut them out
Gather photos for slide shows
