Accountability - Monday

Hey ladies, long and emotional weekend. I will explain in a seperate post a little further. Needless to say didn't work out and my eating wasn't the best (although not terrible either).
Won't get a chance to work out today either I doubt, but back to the 6 meal/day eating that I lost from doing last week...
Total lost last week by changing my diet - 0.5 inches off my waist!

  • That's totally understandable Britt - I hope you get some good news soon!

    I did a 32K bike ride yesterday in the beautiful sunshine so I'm not doing a spin class today. I did my kettle bell workout instead.
    I had a few ladies at my shower yesterday comment on how I've lost weight but I've just toned - love that ;)

  • I did a leg workout on Friday along with abs.  Saturday I went for just over a 7 mile run before a Cinco de Mayo party.  I had quite a few drinks but was so involved in talking with people, etc. that I never had any of the yummy food besides a small cupcake and a few nachos with salsa.  I'm bummed but at the same time I think with drinking alone I was well along my way for a full day of cals even though I burn a ton on my long runs.
  • Saturday we went to an event that was all over the city and rode our bikes to the different stages. Yesterday we did a charity walk at the zoo and then explored the exhibits on our own afterwards. Both days led to a good number of calories burned and I ate fairly well. 

    Today I won't do much but I'm back to the gym tomorrow. I'm considering signing up for some classes this week now that they allow you to do it online.

  • I took my dog on a run yesterday and had homemade whole wheat pizza for dinner, so that was pretty good.  Tonight FI and I are going to hit up the gym for some lifting and elliptical.  I think I've finally gotten past that 1 lb that I was hanging on to.  I'm hoping I can keep losing.

    I had a terrible weekend, but  a great Monday.  I got on the scale and it was bad news---way too much salt/calories this weekend.  I'm sure it's just bloat (you can't really gain 5 pounds in two days), but it was still emotionally a bit of a hit to the ego.

    I went to the gym on Sunday and again today.  I just started C25k week 6 and I killed my 20 minute run last week!
