Good Morning Ladies!

You've said your I Dos and now it's time to flee in style. 

Whether your getaway car consists of mercedes benz or a tractor, it still needs your DIY touch.

I've compiled an inspiration list below (with links), but I'd also love to hear about your plans for transportation for the big day. What is your "getaway" vehicle of choice? Will you be arriving/leaving the ceremony and/or reception in this vehicle? Who will be doing the decorating - the wedding party? the parents? the bride & groom? Share your details!

We are not 100% sure which make of car ours will be seeing as our friend will be surprising us. He is a sales manager at a high end car dealership and he is going to be our chauffeur. He will drive us for photos following the ceremony and then to the reception.

I'm leaning to towards this decal..

And adding garlands of white pom-poms and feathers.

We'll see if I have time ...

We're not 'getting away' because we're staying at the resort but been debating just for pictures basically decorating one of the golf carts they are using to shuttle us from the ceremony location to the reception location and then back to the main resort. Would that be weird? lol

I think decorating the golf cart would be super cute! and you'd get some really cute pics from it!! I wish we could decorate a car or something, but our wedding is all in one building so there isn't a need to drive anywhere except back to the hotel and that won't be til like midnight. oh well

Unfortunately we won't need a getaway car, either.  Our wedding and reception is all at the same venue, and we are staying in a guest house there that night.  But if we DID get to use a cool car, it would be something like this:


This is a Vespa 400.  We love the old foreign mini cars!  haha

Yeah, we aren't "getting away". Our wedding is all in one building so there's no need for transport after the ceremony. Our reception ends at midnight and I hired a car to take us to the hotel but that'll just show up at like 11:55 lol.

We aren't having one either!  I'd love one for pictures but our ceremony and reception are in the hotel we are staying in so wouldn't make much sense!

We will also be having a bus for our guests which we may add some garland to as well.
FI works for the company and this is the bus we will be using:

I love the poms! We are using a family friend's 1976 Corvette convertible!

We aren't having a getaway car either - ceremony and reception are in the same place. We don't plan on leaving before the party is over either I wanna stay till the bitter end which will be 1am I believe. And we rented out an enitre Inn for the wedding party and it's only a 5 min walk from the venue.

Our get away car will be our custom ordered 2012 SS Camaro we just receieved. =] the only thing with decorating it is both of us are REALLY touchy over this car. It's been FI's dream car since forever. Maybe streamers, but definitely nothing that can damage the car.
