Small vent... so over it!

That's it, I am officially the worst wedding planner ever! I have screwed up so many little things just by not reading carefully enough or forgetting to ask questions or getting so frustrated I order something quickly. The escort paper airplanes (which we figured a work around and now I love), bridesmaid dress size, etc etc and now the thank you cards. I just got them in the mail and they are flat cards, not folded, so there's no blank writing space. And of course I personalized them so there's no point sending them back because I'm just an idiot who assumed it was a folded card. Oh well, I guess we'll be writing on the back... I am so, so tired of wedding planning!

Just realize that you are the only one that knows of all these little "mistakes". Don't sweat the small stuff!

I agree with PP. Read the post from a day or two ago from the August bride, discussing a couple of things that went wrong that no one would notice.

I spelled Vegetarian wrong on the RSVP, and only one person brought it to my attention. I also spelled someones last name wrong, and I finally called and apologized the their reaction was "you got it close enough, I knew you meant me!"

People are just happy to be included and know you have a thousand things going on. I understand your frustration though. I have just decided to laugh it all off. Every problem that prevents itself is like "of course that happened LOL!" Think of Charleotte's wedding on Sex and the City, every piece of bad luck was another decade tacked onto their marriage!

Ha, I just saw that episode yesterday evening! Good timing I'm good now but I was just so frustrated yesterday. FI and I are going to come up with a game plan tonight and decide on a list of what we need to get done for every night we can until the wedding (only about 4-5 days we actualy have to work on stuff!). I think that will help too!

I made my own thank you cards (folded style) and I messed up horribly while writing out my Aunt's thank you. I hated the idea of throwing away the card so I just ripped off the fold and wrote on the back of the Thank you portion. No one will know the difference or probably even care. As long as it works out so you are happy with whatever end result you get, it will be fine!
