Got our first RSVP!

We got our first RSVP! It is from a coworker at FI's old job. They said....YES!

However, they didn't write down the number of people that are attending. There is a place to write your name and next to that it says, "No.:____________" He left that blank. I'm wondering if he thought it was a place to explain why he isn't coming if he chose not to come?

I hope other people write in their number...

I don't even know if this guy has kids or anything. I have no clue how many people he could potentially be bringing. I think only him plus one b/c that is what the invite said, but IDK...

If you are really worried about it you could call him and ask... if not, i would think it would be plus one.  Hope this helps!

I would 100% call (or have FI call if you don't know the guy).  It would be a waste to pay for an extra meal because you assumed a plus one.  And you don't want to short your venue (they probably will make a few extra meals but depending on how many people do this how many extras will they make).  I'd handle as these "issues" come in so you can do them bit by bit and not have a bunch of phone calls at the end.  Very exciting though!!!

I would definitely call and just say something like, "We got your RSVP, so glad you can make it!  Will you be bringing a guest?  If so, please let me know his/her name so that I can make sure there's an escort card with his/her name on it!"
