My first fitting was awesome and came in under budget so it was a huge relief and so much fun.  Made things feel very real!

It looks great! I hope mine comes in under budget, too. I got a sample dress, so it needs to be taken in about four sizes I'm going in about a week!

Yes, I got a french bustle.  With the pickups it looks really nice.  And, if yours is a little long and has pickups, ask them about getting a crinoline and then just adding pickups instead of a complete hem...for my dress they said it saved me about $150 (minus the cost of the crinoline which I'm trying to find a second hand one) because it is way less work for them.

Omigosh!  Thanks for letting me know about all that.  I would have no clue.  My dress is long, but I haven't tried it on with my shoes so I'm not sure how much it will need to be potentially hemmed.  I'd love to add more crinoline to it so that it poofs out more at the bottom.  My first fitting isn't until July so I've got to wait it out.
