Convertible/Infinity Dresses

Has anyone wore one of the Convertible or Infinity dresses? I am debating getting one for my showers, because I only have to buy one dress and can wear it to look like two totally different ones for each shower hahaha!

A girl wore one of those to my cousins bridal shower, and then was able to change it up so it looked different for a dinner later that evening.  It was amazing how easily she could change it... but I do feel like she was a bit more crafty/creative than I - so I am not sure if I would have as much luck with it as she did!

I haven't had a chance to look since I got my last catalogue though... I think I just found an excuse to go look again lol

Wow that one at Target is cheap!!! Gotta see what the shipping to Canada is like (if they do, anyone know?)

yes! i actually made one for myself a couple months ago. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, though it's a lot easier to make styles that have straps, atleast that's what i found. there's some cheaper ones on etsy too, if you want to check that out.

if you know how to sew at all, i'd suggest trying to make your own. i made mine after finding a tutorial on pinterest, and total it cost me was like $17 (i had a coupon to joann's). here's my blog post about it and the different styles i've figured out so far:

I got one from target.com and loved it so much i had my girls get them as bridesmaid dresses. everyone has the same dress and can wear them how they feel comfortable!

I don't have any personal experience with them, but I've been told I will be wearing one as a bridesmaid in my friends wedding....when she gets engaged!  They look kind of cool, but I can see myself getting frustrated with it.

I definitely don't sew hahaha... apparently nearly any other crafty thing, but not sewing lol!
I need to take the time (when not at work) to look into the Target one and see if they deliver here because the price is awesome

I think I could probably learn a few ways to do it, but I'd get frustrated with some of the more complex ones lol

it's really not that hard to sew! the hardest part was cutting. the straps are supposed to be 1.5x your height, which was 98" for me.

Don't laugh TOO hard... but the last time I tried sewing I sewed the shirt sleeve of the shirt I was wearing to the pillow I was making lol.... Sewing and I are not friends :P
