I have been lurking on this forum, asking a few basic questions here and there and putting a few repiles up to other posts but haven't ever officially introduced myself. As I saw another member did that the other day I figured I would do the same!
I am getting married as the Mount Washington Resort in NH on September 8th! It is a 'semi-destination' wedding as most of the guests will be traveling at least 2-3 hours to the venue, but other than those that would have to fly to come to the wedding where I currently live, no one will have to fly. We are making an entire weekend of the event with a Welcome dinner that everyone is invited to Friday night, an late morning/afternoon ceremony and reception, and then a afterparty at the ski lodge on the resort in the evening. The welcome dinner and after party will be VERY low key, so just a good time to visit with people so I don't feel rushed to do all of that at the reception.
My colors are Navy with hints of yellow (bouquets) and silver (girls shoes, chair ties). Our centerpieces will be mostly greenery (grasses/ferns/etc) as I am not a huge flower person so didn't want to spend the money on them when I think greenery can look just as pretty!
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself since I have asked a few questions here and there!!
