Nothing exciting at all :( Cleaning, packing, applying for jobs, running to the stores. I am working at my part-time job at the spring training stadium for a few hours tomorrow night for an open house, it will be nice to get a few bucks but I really wish I didn't sign up to work, I'd rather have the time at home. Oh well.

Tonight DH goes to play cards, so I will be home by myself. I'll be working on finalizing the pro pics for the photog (somebody shoot me, 400 pics is SO many to pick out, esp. when you mess up the numbering :-( ). Tomorrow we have nothing planned (gasp!). Sunday will be church, grocery shopping, and pool.

I'm getting my hair done tomorrow!  It hasn't been trimmed in over 4 months.  I'm also going to have some low-lights put in underneath.  Not that I have much of underneath to my hair since it's so thin, but I'm hoping this will help it appear fuller.

We're having my young cousin over for a sleepover on Saturday, I'm sure he (and DH) will be playing video games most of the night. Other than that, I'm going to be packing for our road trip (we leave next Friday night).  I'd like to go to the Improv to see Iliza from Last Comic Standing, but that depends if we'll have enough time.

we're going to the blink 182, fallout boy, panic at the disco show tonight at post gazette (2 of my all time fav bands, and FI's a huge fan of blink, so it's a total win/win!). i can't wait!! other than that-i was supposed to go to FSIL's bridal shower tomorrow, but she had to postpone it due to emergency family issues. FI & i have a therapy session in the morning, after that...nothin. i didn't know that iliza was in town this wknd though! i might try to convince him to go! we watched that season and LOVED iliza! she's freakin hilarious! thanks for the heads up!

We have an insanely busy weekend. Tomorrow we're moving my grandparents into a nursing home then going to a friend's annual cookout. Sunday we have breakfast with Shawn's mom, obedience classes with the dog, then headed to my parents' house to watch the fireworks that Glassport's Sons of Italy festival sets off every year. They live at the top of a hill and their backyard has a view of the river and all of Glassport so it's a perfect view!

Leaving work in 15 minutes to go to the airport with FI and fly to Minnesota for a big wedding weekend!  I'm really looking forward to seeing a bunch of college friends from all over the country AND going to the Mall of America for the first time :)

No problem JB.  She was on the 100.7 morning show and I heard her, then when DH was driving to work he heard her on the X morning show.  So when we got home last night he said, "you know who's in town" and I finished his sentence lol.I've never gone to the Improv, so I thought it would be a fun experience.  She was my favorite that season too (I usually tend not to like women comics).  We might try to see Marcus if we take a trip to Salt Lake City next year because that's where he's been doing alot of his shows.

we went to see jim bruer last summer-stood in line to wait to get inside for over and hour, but i thought it was worth it. there's a 2 drink minimum, but to be honest, i ordered one drink (and didn't drink it, i didn't like it) and the waitress never made me order another and only one drink (for me) was reflected on the tab, as well as FI's 2 drinks. *shrug* it was a good time though! the warm up acts weren't so hot, and couldn't really hear them, but it's a nice room, very up close and personal. it isn't like everyone sits far from the stage and the stage is set up super high above everyone. it's just a tiny space in the front of the room, so the comedian is level with everyone. the room is on a grade, so everyone can see. i hope we can go tomorrow!! that would be a great way to spend the evening!

That's awesome that you've been there before. DH looked for ticket info online but didn't see any, is it all first come first serve?  So are the drinks in addition to your ticket or is it just the cost of drinks?  I think we're looking at tonight or Sunday night as possibilities.  I think I'll call when I get home.

KR - I love restaurant week here in Philly.  But, ours isn't until the third week of September. We're going to see District 9 tonight, yuck :(    Tomorrow we're going to the travel agent's to try to book our vacation to Ireland in December - we decided we want to stay over Christmas and haven't told either of our parents yet.  We're also going to try to buy tile for our backsplash.  We're having problems picking a color that we like.  All of the neutrals seem to wash out, so we need something bright, and it's hard to pick!!  Sunday we have a party for DHs great uncle's 70th birthday.  That's it.  Not much going on.

Jamie - you can get tickets onlinehttp://www.symfonee.com/Improv/pittsburgh/comedians/Bio.aspx?Uid=ffe06490-9223-4d30-94d9-7c6ee567f81b I'm glad you brought this up because I've been wanting to go here.  Maybe I'll see if DH wants to check it out tomorrow or next weekend (Hal Sparks is coming).

KR, it's restaurant week here too!  We're going to hit something tonight before we pick up my sister from the airport.Erica--Restaurant Week is basically a bunch of restaurants in the city offer 2 or 3 course prix fix menus at a great price.  I think here this year lunches are $22 for 3 courses (app, entree & dessert) and dinners are $33.  And they are usually upscale restaurants offering their specialties.

We went to see Hal Sparks last year and he was fabulous.  Our friends are going again next Friday night, but we're not sure if we're going.  I didn't know how much they changed their acts from year to year.  I don't want half of the show to be a repeat.I agree the opening acts are ususally pretty bad.

Sorry, I had a minor work crisis.  Solved now.  :)Haha, it is a little cheaper in Baltimore!  20.09 for lunch and 30.09 for dinner - an awesome deal and a great way to try expensive places that we don't go to otherwise! I thought Pittsburgh did have it too, but it looks like maybe it was just in 2007?  That's odd...maybe it wasn't popular enough?http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07172/796481-46.stm
