Hi Everyone! I've been lurking on the Pittsburgh board for a couple days now and decided to introduce myself!My name is Jill and I am getting married next year on June 18 -- I am SOOOO excited! June 18 was a no brainer to FI and I because that will be the 6 year anniversary of us becoming "boyfriend-girlfriend" (we met in HS) =)Our Wedding Plans so far...We have decided to have a small, intimate wedding with only family and close friends -- our guest count will probably be around 75. FI and I are only having a MOH (my sister) and a BM (his brother) in our wedding party, along with my niece as the FG. Ceremony: Ave Maria Church, BentleyvilleReception: Holiday Inn Meadowlands, WashingtonColors: Red and OrangePhotography (engagement/wedding): Storybook Photography, BentleyvilleDJ: Songbook DJ's, BentleyvilleI am just beginning to start shopping for my dress, which I am super excited about! I've gone to Sorelle Bridal in Washington so far and I am thinking about also going to MB Bride in Greensburg.A little more about me...I graduated from the Univ of Pitt in April 2009 with a BS in Biological Sciences. I just got a job a month ago with Mylan Pharmaceuticals working in their quality control lab. My FI is a part-time police officer working in 2 different departments; he is trying to find a full-time position. In my off time I love to be outdoors and spend time with my dogs (and plan our wedding of course!) =)I hope to get to know all of you better as well!! Hope you all enjoy the weekend -- the weather is amazing!

welcome & congrats! sounds like you're on a roll with the planning already-that's great! i've heard nothing but great things about sorelle in washpa! in fact, i believe a few of the girls went out there together today to try on dresses and get fitted. :)most of the girls are only around during the weekdays, only a few of us trickle in on the wknds. the rest will roll around monday morning to say hi!

Welcome! I'm a December '09 bride, and I bought my dress at MB Bride. I know that I've heard some hit and miss stories about MB, but my consultant (Kim) was awesome. Whenever I call there, panicked, with questions or concerns, someone's always happy to help me.Congratulations on all of your great planning so far!

Are you nuts? (j/k)I am dying in this heat and humidity. I just got back from Wheeling, I had to cover the big truck show down there and I literally got sick to my stomach from the heat.Oh - and your wedding date will be my brother and sister-in-law's 30th Anniversary!My daughter and her FI are getting married this October 16th - it's their 9 year anniversary of becoming boyfriend/girlfriend too. They also started going out together in HS.

Oh yea, and I had a small wedding too- only 84 people. While I do wish more came, it was nice to be able to talk with everyone and still dance/enjoy our reception instead of being stuck going table to table the whole time!

Hi! Welcome! I just wanted to say that we had our reception at the Holiday Inn Washington and LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT! We got tons of compliments from people saying that the food, service, atmosphere, etc. was awesome! Mary Ann is a lifesaver and had everything completely organized and under control.
