My future hubby is dancing with his older sister, as his mama is in a later stage of Alheizmers disease, to Boys to Men "Song for Mama". It's a very heartfelt song.

Mine refuses to do one because his mother is an attention starved drama queen who will probably make a big scene whether we do or don't do one. Fi hates attention and so he wants the spotlight off himself, and his mother, as much as possible.

We're doing our mother/son father/daughter dance at the same time and I think we're doing the israel kamakawiwo'ole somewhere over the rainbow/ what a wonderful world mash-up type song. 

It's sorta long-ish, but we might cut it short.

Very fun, happy, good.

That's such a good song. I was surprised my older brother didn't use it at his wedding to dance with our mom. Hugs to your FI, we're going through something similar with my mom. <div>

she hates that song mama, it was playing at a wedding that we went to and said NOT this song!  Also there you'll be she danced to with her other son at his wedding. She wants a heartfelt song that will touch her heart when she hears it, because he other son took the time and effort to pick out a song, so she wants the same when she dances with him! I just think all the mother/son songs are horrible!
