Wedding Schedule

I am getting married September 29th, 2102 at 3:00. I booked hair & makeup people.. I have no idea when to have them do our hair & makeup. I don't have any idea what time I should do everything. Can anybody give me any ideas. Also I have two kids I have to get ready too.A 11 yr old & 4 yr old. Thanks!!

It depends on how many people you have in your bridal party and how many makeup/hair people will be there.  We are starting to get ready around noon for our 3pm ceremony, but we only have me and two BMs.

We are date and ceremony time twins! We also have FI's kids around the same age as yours to get ready, along with 4 BM's and our 2 mothers. I have a separate hair person from the makeup artist and we will begin getting ready at 9:30am in order for me to put my dress on at around 1:00, take pics with my girls, then have a first look with FI at 2:00. I will be heading to the church at 2:30. If you don't have quite so many people to do hair and makeup, you won't have to start so early. It also depends on how soon you need to be ready. Are you taking formal group photos before the ceremony? We aren't. Do you want time to do a first look? How far do you have to go from where you are getting ready to the ceremony? Hope this helps!

We aren't doing any pictures before the ceremony, so yeah, I forgot... that will make a HUGE difference in timing.  We are getting ready and heading straight to the ceremony... which is about 3 minutes from the hotel where we are getting ready.  So, it will greatly depend on photos before... and the size of your bridal party and number of hair/makeup people...

My ceremony is at 3pm also and we are starting hair and make up at 8am. There will be myself, 5 BM's and 2 flowergirls getting done. Our photog is also showing up at 1pm to do pic's of us girls getting ready.

I have3 BMS who also have to get ready but one chooses to do her own hair & makeup which is fine with me if she wants to do that. I don't have to go very far to the place of the cermony. I don't know if we are taking pictures or not

My best advice is to talk to your photographer. Mine helped me a ton with understanding the time necessary for pictures which will help determine when to get hair and makeup done.

You might not be planning any "Before the ceremony" photos - but remember, there will still be the photos of you getting dressed, you and your BM's, you and your Mom...  All that kind of thing CAN be taken beforehand.
