I've been gone from TK for about a week or so because I have been so busy with work. I recently finished school, passed my boards, and have been job hunting. I have been bartending full time at a small bar about 5 minutes from my home. Just to give you a little idea, it is not uncommon for my patrons to drive their tractors to the bar. Anyway, I get a lot of sketchy people in there sometimes and I am alyways the only one working. I close the bar by myself in the middle of the night with no houses around. Last night I think I almost got robbed. The man was waiting outside the door for me but luckily I knew he was out there and called my boss to come meet me. I left and told them I would not be back. It simply is not worth the risk.
I'm lucky to have a FI and parents who have offered to help me for a few weeks until I find a job in my career field. (Good vibes needed ladies!)
This puts the wedding plans on hold for a while. I feel like I am much behind in terms of planning in comparison with the other ladies on the board. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that things start falling into place. Looks like my date my not fall in September 2012 afterall.
