Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh

Please recommend your…

DJ!  I'm sure this gets asked all the time but I paged through all the board posts and couldn't find anything.  We're looking for someone who won't be on the mic all the time talking or making people do cheesy stuff, will be easy to work with from out of town, will respect our "must play" and "don't play" lists, and who has/would be willing to acquire music we like that might be outside of the normal light rock/ Top 40/ 80s stuff.Thank you!

My wedding is next month, so this is a tentative recommendation, but we're using Steve Credo from Rockin' Bob's and I'm very happy so far.  We clicked with him, the price was right, and he's been very open to our requests and restrictions.

2nd II None Productions - DJ Willie. LOVE Him. Two couples that were at our wedding booked him for theirs and I got him from my cousins wedding.

We used Jason Hitt with Big Day Entertainment - he is fabulous!  His video on the site is a little funny, but he wasn't cracking jokes the day of.  :)He followed our lists exactly - my DH actually printed playlists for most of the wedding.  He didn't tell people no requests outright, but asked us when a few people requested a particular song.  It was easy to work with him from OOT!  HTH!

Another rec for Andy Booth. He is really great! He has a website that allows you to plan everything out. Very helpful.
