Hey girls... I just wanted to say that it was so great to finally meet you girls!  I just caught up on the GM post, thank you for the compliments!  I'm sorry I didn't get to stay longer, I thought I was going to die I was so hot after being in my dress and it was so hot in the shop!  And Keagan was clearly ready to leave!  I can't believe my alterations are going to cost more than I paid for my dress *gag*.  Sara, did you have any luck???  Dori, thank you for my paper!  Sonya, your dress is gorgeous!  Happy wedding week!

More than your dress!? Are you serious?! What needed fixed? It looked like it fir you perfectly.  Is it just the details you want put on the top? btw- your dress is gorgeous! I've seen pictures, but I absolutely love sooo much more in person! Your Mom and I were talking about how its unique- and I absolutely love that about it. And she was saying it fits your personality- which is what I'm looking for in a dress.And Keagan is so cute! He was shy at first- and then just started jumping around all of us! too cute!It was so nice to finally meet you! And I dont blame you for getting outta there- I was sweating, and I was nekkid most of the time

Well, I only paid $200 for my dress.  Alterations are going to run about $250.  The biggest expense is going to be the hem, since it's not the typical hem.  Dealing with the "waterfalls" makes it more difficult.  The top of my dress fit perfectly a couple weeks ago and on Saturday it was too big!  Yay!  The lil bit that I want to add to the top won't cost much at all.  My mama is right, my dress definitely fits my personality.  I got soooo lucky with finding that dress.  After we left, Keag said "bring your friends mama" lmao!

Keagan was so adorable!  And your mom is gorgeous!  We were wishing we could've helped you pick your accessories, but it really was so hot in there, and it is always hot in the gown!  I'm so sorry to hear your alterations are costing SO much!  I guess I got extremely lucky... Your total bill is still less than mine, though.  It's great that you love your dress and it will fit perfectly! It is a very cool dress, and I love the bustle!Maybe we can plan another Washington get-together outside of the bridal shop when we can just hang out and talk.  Thanks for the compliments!

I'm late (as usual!), but I'm glad we got to meet you, Jessi! No problem on the paper, I'm glad someone can use it! :-) Keagan is so adorable! And your mom is so young & pretty! She looks more like a sis! My alterations were about that too, but I needed more work done instead of it being complicated. I also was shocked at how much bridal alterations cost, but it seems that's the norm for them.
