Sept 2012 Registry Item Same-Ness

So anyone have any suggestions?  I know we talked about candle holders.  I'm not registering at BB&B (registering at Target & Macys instead) and looked and they have none of the same candle holders.

Any other ideas?

could just be a set of kitchen towels or something like that? i know we don't all have the same colored kitchens, but they could be seasonal or something? like fall-colored ones (for september?).

I like that idea, but it might be hard to find something autumn-themed at this time of the year.  Maybe if we try to find something red/orange/yellow??  That might be our best bet.  Kitchen towels are a cute idea because they are a decent price and it's likely that someone will buy them.  And we can all register for the same colour or something- they don't necessarily have to be the exact same set- so everyone can get them no matter where they are registered.

Honestly, I'd be okay with stealing Sept. 2011's item and doing the brown sugar bear.  I actually could use one

I already have measuring spoons.  No offense, but if I'm going to have doubles, I'd rather it be something l will use, like fall/red/orange/yellow colored kitchen towels.

I love this idea guys! I didn't know you were doing it, but I love it!

I don't think the towells are a good idea. Towells wear out and have to be thrown out eventually. I would want it to be something that doesn't wear out.

I agree with towels wearing out. I'd like to have something that will last. Like a little decoration or something, even a picture frame or whatever.

The 2011 brides all registered for the same item, a "Brown Sugar Bear" (a small bear that keeps your brown sugar moist) and they all rememebered each other by it.

I like a silly item, I could defintely use a brown sugar bear and the corn butterer is cute too.

i do like the picture frame idea. i know it may not necessarily match everyone's decor but it's long lasting and very use-able, and we can try to find one thats very simple.

also down for the brown sugar bear, it is so cute and i totally need something like that, i didn't know such a thing existed!

They are so cute! But I don't know if everyone would be able to get one. I mean, we're going to register at BB&B, Belk, and REI. We could do something with a "theme"...

Like, a vase with blue in it. Or something like that. Since we all have such different styles.

My concern is that a lot of stores don't exist in Canada and our registry options are so ridiculously limited here....
