Shoe dilemma! HELP!

Ok so I'm terribly indecisive about my shoes. I've ordered 3 different pairs and I like them all, I just can't decide between them. And that leads me to keep looking at shoes, which is totally unnecessary because any of these would be cute!

My wedding colors are gray and white with touches of dark purple (mainly BM dresses). I orginally wanted dark purple shoes but I can't find any that I'm in love with, so now I'm looking at silver/gray. I would prefer a darker gray to a silver, but even that color has a limited selection.

Here is my dress:

And the shoe choices....

Shoe #1 - Cute lower heel ruffle pumps, in the color I like.

Shoe #2 - Pretty much shoe #1 with a wedge, but not exactly the color I like. Very comfortable, I LOVE wedges! Also super cute in black, I could buy a pair just to wear as dress shoes with other things.PERTIE by TOUCH OF NINA

Shoe #3 - Sexy shoes as FMIL said. NOT very comfortable and I don't want to trip in such a high heel! But hey, you only get one pair of wedding shoes and this is what I pictured wearing.

Re: Shoe dilemma! HELP!

  • I voted for the first one. Very cute and your right I like that colour alot! I originally was going to order the 3rd shoe for my wedding shoe as well but after reading up on the reviews I decided against it.
  • I voted #1.  I think it would look the best :)
  • I actually voted for 2. Couple reasons, I would presonally wear them again, but also because a wedge is almost always more comfortable than a heel so you are more likely to wear them all night and not hate your life. That being said, they are all cute.
  • I think it depends on venue somewhat.  I have some platform wedges because our ceremony is in a park, and I don't want to sink.  If that's a concern, I'd go with #2.  Otherwise, I really like #1.

Once upon a time, there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.
  • I vote #3 if it's what you like and pictured wearing, but then having at least a backup pair of flats on hand for the reception if the heels get to be too much.  I think they're super cute!

I almost tried on #1 over the weekend while looking for shoes for a wedding next month.  Funny thing is, I was looking for even lower heels.  I'm 5'10" and don't really need the extra height/discomfort.  Regardless, I do love those shoes, and think they'd be a good second choice if you don't go with #3.
  • I love your dress!

    I picked #1!

  • I picked #2 because I'm wearing wedges too, lol.

  • i like #1 but that is just me the heel size seems good and would look well with your dress and the color seems to be the one you want.
  • I voted for 1, such a cute shoe and in a color that you like.

Are you getting married outside? Some of my friends that have gotten married and/or taken wedding pictures outside regretted wearing stiletto heels. Their heels were sinking into the ground making it difficult to walk. If that is the case, then shoe number 2 with the wedge actually has my vote!

  • Thanks for the votes everybody!!

And thanks Aries - I am so excited for the dress to come in!!

Laur110 - We are having an indoor church ceremony but we will be doing pictures outside. I just love wedges because they are so comfortable. I found #2 in a little bit darker color on DSW.com so I may go with those. I tried #3 on again and I felt like the ruffles were taking over my whole foot and they were just so much less comfortable than the others. At least I've narrowed it down to 2!
  • I voted for #1, but I am biased because I bought the same pair this past weekend only in a different color.  They are comfy, and I'm not worried I will trip.  By the way that dress is lovely on you, very classic.

  • I would totally go with shoe #1. It seems to encompass what you described as what you are looking for :)
