Accountability - Tuesday

Sorry I wasn't on ladies, but thank you volleygurl0306 for covering for me. We have been having problems with our internet hub. The company informed us this weekend they have to send it away for repairs and have no loaners, meaning we're without net at my house for the next couple weeks atleast... I can still get on at work, but days like yesterday which was a holiday here in Canada aren't happening lol

Last night FI agreed to 'get serious' about working out with me from now until the wedding, so I whipped out the P90X Arms & Shoulders disc and we did that in the evening together. Its SO much easier to find the motivation to work out with him working out with me!

This morning he had to start work early (5:30am) so I got up and did the YogaX disc on my own. Tonight I think we're going to do the Ab Ripper together.

How is working out going for everyone else? We're in the home stretch now ladies!

  • I got up and did Jillian Michaels this morning.  Normally a morning workout energizes me but today it made me feel exhausted.  Tonight I need to get in a good stretch and then get to bed at a reasonable hour.  Even though tomorrow is a holiday I am still working so going to still try to get up early and workout again.  We are out of town 2 our of 4 weekends this month so I need to get into the habit of being productive during the week. 

    I am definitely feeling time pressured to get to where I want.  If I can get JM workouts (or something that is comprably challenging) in 4 times a week and maybe just 1-2 days of running, I think it is doable.  I just have to not let the other things going on keep me from getting my workouts in...I am feeling even more time pressured to get all my school work and WR projects done!
  • FI and I are committed to finding time atleast 5 days/week for P90X and 3 days/week for running. Doing this I think will get me where I need to be/want to be!
  • I took the pup for a run this morning... only for a little over a mile but with a short-nosed dog and the crazy heat/ humidity I figured I'd rather be safe with my pup than not. I got her down to a 12 and a half minute mile pace though! 

    I need to get back on my weightlifting/ running wagon. Last week I worked out twice and FI didn't work out at all. I plan to go for a run tomorrow and maybe go lift some weights as well. I really feel so much better when I'm working out regularly, I never understand how easily I get off track.
