So... First, I just wanted to tell everyone how much I still appreciate the positive, uplifting spirit of community this board has. I still find it's the only board I want to keep reading!
This week has been about highs and lows.
First, let's start with today's low. As I've shared before, my fiance's work takes him out to sea (no, he's not in the military currently) for months at a time. He has been gone since early February. I'm an independant gal so I don't mind but this is longer than he has EVER been gone and I really, REALLY miss him. Poor guy also hasn't had a day off of work since February.
He has been planning on getting off the ship this week (which would also mean he's home in time for the food tasting which would be a bonus- Woo hoo!), but now his company is saying they might not be able to fill his spot, so he might not be able to leave.
Missing the food tasting is small potatoes, I'm just worried that he's going to have to spend another 3 weeks + at work if he has to cross the Pacific again...
NOW- the Pictures and the high!! I will start with something sparkly so I don't bore you all to tears:
This is my bridal sash! I got a really simple dress- no bows, no ribbons, no lace and ordered this FABULOUS sash on Etsy.
Now, here are some pics I took with it on. (Please excuse my yoga clothes- I needed a cleaning break and was excited.) Sorry for the poor quality- had to do w/out the flash because of reflective issues!
