Weekly Checks!

Posting this now because I am on a serious roll this weekend! I've done so much WR stuff I could fall down! You guys are going to be so jelly lol jk!

THIS PAST WEEK

-Cocktail napkins are in! I ordered them from theknot shop when they were on sale a few weeks ago. I got 100 that have 2 lovebirds and our names, and another 100 that have "eat drink get married" and our names. 

-Got shoes! They are sparkle-ly and silver!

-the honeymoon is completely 100% booked including ALL hotels and air tickets and whatnot and deposits put down

-My mother got her dress! I helped her pick it out yesterday and she ordered it.

-Picked out the invitations! Wahoooo! Carlson craft pockets!

-Picked a florist! 

NEXT WEEK

-order my wedding band, probably on Wednesday

-find someplace slightly cheaper to get FI's band from 

-order the invitations online

-put depost down on the florist after i get the final quote

I really got nothing done this week lol. The only thing I worked on was the rehearsal dinner menu a bit. Eh, oh well.

This past week:
- Chose rehearsal dinner location & timings
- Set the timings for the wedding itself
- Finished the ribbons & flowers on the bibles for the ring bearers
- Designed wedding invitations
- Selected tuxes

For this coming week:
- Order rehearsal dinner invites
- Order hair fascinator
- Finish garland for the altar decoration
- Finish aisle decorations
- Figure out where I'm getting the black napkins from

I can't remember what was this week and what was last week, but sometime in the last two weeks, I:

-scheduled a second appt. with my florist
-scheduled a second appt. with my caterer
-decided on invitations
-told my girls what kinds of bridsmaids dresses to get
-contacted a baker
-received our first wedding gift, and wrote my first thank-you note
-tonight I will address and mail the last of the STDs.


Next week I must:
-order the invitations we picked
-meet with the florist
-think seriously about ceremony music
-get FI to make an appt. for tuxes
-follow up with the baker about a cake
-meet with my mom's friend to talk about a shower date
-call the dress store and ask about when to expect a fitting (my mom had a dream that the lady forgot to order my dress, so she's making me call "just to check on it"...LOL!)
-contact my bank about joint accounts (not really WR but marriage-related...)

This past week I:

- had our menu tasting & finalized the menu

- did more research into the RD

My MOH also told me that she booked my shower (Aug 19) and my b-party (Sept 22-23) - yay!

This coming week I plan to:

- (hopefully) book the RD

- book the cake tasting

- continue looking for a fascinator

Had a productive day today!

Last week and today:

Made a final, binding color decision! 

Bought 12 bud vases and 4 votive holders 

Bought a frame and wide matt to act as our guest "book"

Bought shoes

Finalized invitation wording

Put down the deposit on my ring so the artist can start crafting it!

Did some makeup research

Next week:

Order invitations, thank you cards, escort cards, table numbers, etc. (same artist)

Return all the rejected shoes to Zappos/Endless

Order table linens

May order a return address stamper

My plan for last week was...
- work on candles for centerpieces
- design labels for syrup bottles
- try to assemble "happy tears" envelopes
- work on pomanders
- get FI to spray paint an easle and program holder
- call David's Bridal about the FG dress
- order mini clothespins (for place cards)
- gather missing addresses

My accomplishments for this week:

- finalized my centerpiece

- picked up the FG dress

- updated blog

- worked on invitations (I have to redo all the work I already did :P)

- organized the "craft room" (aka storage room)

- bought earrings for my MOH

- researched readings

This Week:

- order labels for bottles and invitations

- work on invitations

- determine readings

- work on program

- start dance routine lessons on easter monday

Mine for the week:

Accomplished
-Finalized our flowers and where we will be ordered them from (Sam's online!)
-Completely re-did our wedding registry from Target to BBB (Target was HORRIBLE), this took SO long.
-Updated wedding website w/new registry & hotel room block information
-Finalized wedding invitations, now just need to place that order!
-Ordered gorgeous honeymoon bathing suit...and it doesn't fit AT ALL
-Brainstormed some hair and makeup ideas
-Researched possible wedding jewelry for me/my girls

Next Week To-Dos
-Buckle down and find a wedding band for me! FI already has one!
-Order invitations
-Return above-mentioned swimsuit
-Finalize guest list with the FI
-Work on seating chart
-Pick up my dress from the store (now with bustle!)

Past week: 1. Booked all transportation for the wedding. (Limo and big 50 passenger bus!) 2. Booked hotel in Ft. Lauderdale for day after we return from HM. 3. Got FI's e.pic outfits picked out. Next week: 1. Look for shoes 2. Look for jewelry 3. Figure out when we can go look at wedding bands I have been working at least 15 hours every day. Not conducive to wedding planning!

this past week:
-had our tasting and made a BUNCH of decisions about our reception, i'm glad to have all of that squared away!
-returned my original wedding band and did an exchange for a new one. should be getting it this week.

this coming week:
-cake tasting & consultation on saturday
-get my new wedding band!
-dan has to leave on sunday for his month-long work trip to alabama. which means i will be in full on craft mode!

Maybe I was wrong, we are all turning into a very productive bunch! I think it's the ~5-6 month crunch time to finish getting vendors booked.
