Weather - Extended Forecast

So... Sept 1st is only 12 days away!  Most weather stations only do 10 day forecasts, but apparently Accuweather.com has more.

For my wedding site, it's predicted to be partly cloudy & 72 degrees.  Sounds perfect to me!!!!  Fingers crossed it stays that way, and these nasty storms in the Caribbean either hurry past or go off into the ocean rather than coming up the coast!

Anyone else?!  Will you look, or not look?

Great minds!! Another Sept 1 bride here and I just finished checking the weather as well - mostly sunny with a high of 90 and low of 72!   I too am worried about the storms though, wedding in Houston then honeymoon on the Yucatan Peninsula - Yikes!!

Here's hoping the weather holds out for us both!

Good luck to you! Our wedding is still too far out to check but I guarantee you I will be stalking the forecast pages every day. I picked the date because it's historically a clear, mild day but I'm still nervous.

I'll be stalking the weather forecast but we're still 33 days out.  Our venue will allow us to make the decision on the day of to have our ceremony inside or outside.  I'm hoping for sunny skies and a beautiful fall-ish day.

This will be me too!  Everything is inside at one location so the weather doesn't really impact anything except if we can take some outside pictures which I'd really love to do!

Oh I will DEFINITELY be stalking the weather!  I won't be able to do for another week however (Sept 8th bride)....

Oh, yes, I will be checking the forecast as soon as I can! I'm going to hope for the best weather possible for all of us. FI and I aren't crazy about our back-up indoor option but if it happens, it happens and I'm not going to let it get me down!

WAIT WAIT WAIT... I just reread your post and saw that you said it went out 'further' and assumed it was 12 days since that is what you said.  Accuweather goes out 25 days!!!!!!  That means most Sept brides can start stalking at this point - oh boy!  Currently it says Sunny and 78 degrees... FINGERS CROSSED it stays that way... that would be PERFECT!

Yes Accuweather has 25 day extended forecast.  It's supposed to be sunny and 83 on my wedding day!  Hope it's true!

I never heard of that site!  I just checked and it only only goes to Sept 13th   two days shy of what I need to know.

Ahhhhh I am ONE DAY too early for accuweather. Thanks for it though! I'll start checking tomorrow lol.

Sept 2 bride...Ive been stalking every weather site for months lol. It said 81 and partly cloudy on my day.  All I really want is NO RAIN. From my mouth to God's ears... hoping for the best !

OMG so glad you told us about this website!  I just checked and it says high of 88 and low of 70 for our Friday September 7th wedding day!  I am hoping and praying this is true, because our ceremony is outdoors and it's been hot as heck!

You are a genius! Now I have something else to check everyday... :) My forecast is the palindrome of yours - 87 and sunny (oh, how I hope that is not an overly humid 87 degrees!).

Oh, and Yahoo Weather goes out at least until Sept 1st.  Not sure how far it goes after that!  But it seems to agree with Accuweather on my location & date

i'm 26 days out but i went temporarily insane today and checked the farmer's almanac...HAHAHAHAHAHA. i can't even believe myself right now.

and it says hurricane threat in the northeast from the 12th-15th. sooo..are these predictions ever accurate?

I swore I wouldn't stalk the weather, but I've been stalking Accuweather for the days leading up to the wedding as we're still too far out hahaha how bad is that?

Welp today was my first day to start stalking. 85 and clouds giving away to some sun. I'll take it.

Haha, prior to Accuweather, I had used Wunderground.com to stalk the weather history for my location - you can put in a date, and click back on years to see what the weather was like on that day in previous years.  For the last 12 years, there was only two years that Sept 1st had rain in my location - one was only 0.01 inches, so a sprinkling, and the other was 0.3 inches, so decent rainfall but not a torrential storm.  Here's hoping this is another year of sunshine!

I'm stalking a bit, but mostly to make sure my roses and zinnias get enough water to have a chance to be producing blooms the day or two before our wedding on Sept 1. But I'm keeping an eye on the Atlantic. I am NOT liking this Tropical Depression 9 - it could easily be somewhere between Florida and Maine over Labor Day weekend. Here's hoping for all of us that it just spins in the Gulf and we all get great weather for our wedding days!

We're cloudy, humid and 89! I hear cloudy is perfect for photos and we'll be inside for most everything, but praying it doesn't rain. Rain forcasted for rehearsal dinner and brunch (both outside but under a shelter). We'll see, I guess!

Great, now Tropical Depression 9 is Tropical Storm Isaac, although just barely so. I will definitely be stalking Isaac for the next week -- Here's hoping Isaac doesn't stalk me!
