I tried to post this elsewhere but it didnt work from my phone.

Just found out my FI's grandmother is not doing well. She already has diabetes and kidney failure and just got out of the hospital for heart failure.

Going to go visit her on Saturday, but it's not looking like she will be able to hold on until our wedding all the way in September.

Oh I'm so sorry!  FI's grandmother is very sick as well and there is a good chance she will not live to our wedding either.  How is your FI handling this?  Are they close?

I dunno, he is at home and Im at work, Ill see him in the morning. He is not too much of an emotional person, but the fact that she wont be able to see him get married might hit him harder. His grandparents on the other side of the family are still alive and well.  Both of my sets of grandparents have passed on

I got a call last night to say that my Memere (grandmother) had small stroke yesterday. She's doing ok, but that thought crossed my mind too. She the last grandparent I have left and it really hit me.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!
