So I purchased 10 black on black damask table cloths and 108 black satin chair covers with the intention of renting the approx 10 more table cloths and 40 chair covers and then sell the bought stuff so that in the end I would come out cheaper than renting.
Now I'm thinking black on black (with eggplant runners and napkins) is going to be too dark and I want to do the other 1/2 of the tablecloths in the eggplant instead of black with no runner.
Do you think that having 1/2 the reception tables with black table cloths and 1/2 with eggplant will look silly? I went with black initially because I was afraid too much purple would look too barney.
