Accountability - Thursday

Abs in the morning, gym after work today. Going to make sure I get in shape for this wedding if it kills me!!! Hahaha That's been my motto :)

FI is joining me at the gym after work today, I always find it easier to get the motivation to go if he's going too :)

    Ooh, I like the motivation picture!

    I haven't been doing as good this week as I usually do, but I did go to the gym yesterday. I've had a ton of errands to run everyday this week after work, so at least I haven't been sitting on the couch all night! :)

    Yesterday, we went and picked up my mom's road bike that she's giving me and we went and bought one for FI, too! I'm pretty excited about it. I think it will be a fun way to stay in shape/get in shape, especially since a lot of our friends are riding now. Does anyone here ride on a regular basis?

    I took the dog for a little over a 4 mile run/ walk this morning. We are definitely not fast (as running longer distance with a puggle pretty much never is - she's more of a sprinter!) but she made up for it by frolicking in the mud and stopping to smell everything ever in Rock Creek park. At least I got out there in the humidity instead of being a slacker like I have been; I feel a lot better!

    Edit: I may go lift weights in a bit or just do some pushups and such before I shower.

  • Got in a run last night before class.  Aiming to do a JM workout tonight but FI and I are in need of a date night so it may not happen.  We'll see though.
  • I was just writing in GIS today for the first time in awhile so I guess I will jump in here too.  Slowly, very slowly, starting to figure out stomach issues.  It's slow going and I still have a lot of discomfort so exercise has been pretty sporadic.  My diet has been okay though so though I've gained a smidge (most is probably bloat/water/etc.) it's not that big of a deal.  I'm changing my food up a teeny bit and I am hoping I can be motivated enough to run after work today.  I really want to start to tone for the wedding.  I was focusing mainly on running for so long that the arms and everything else are starting to be less toned.  Here's to hoping that I can stick with it and not get discouraged when a bad belly day hits like I have in the past!
  • FI and I took the dog on a walk for about an hour yesterday.  That's all the exercising I did.  However, I've been eating really well.  I actually lost a lb the past couple days.  Today nothing yet, but I think I'll take the dog for a run.  FI went on a run this morning, so I know he probably won't be up for working out together tonight.  We usually love working out together, but FI started a new job lately and he's so stressed and working so much more than normal that work outs have fallen to the wayside.  And when he doesn't work out, I have much less motivation to do so.
