WWYD re: hair clip

So I ordered my hair piece last night; it's the first pic below but the beige accent pieces will be white. It's sooo pretty and I'm super excited to get it. BUUUUUT, another seller on Etsy finally got back to me today regarding a previous clip that I'd been eyeing and loved (Murphy's Law right?) to let me know that she can do what I was hoping for. Crap. Now I'm not sure what to do. The second pic is the other clip, but the aqua feather will be replaced with a deep purple/eggplant feather.
Should I stick with what I ordered or should I get this one too? Which do you prefer? Why? These are the details that are stressing me out these days! I'm so scared to pick the wrong things!!

I would be worried that the long feather on the second one would get caught on something or poke someone in the eye. I am really klutzy though, you might not have that issue!

I have to agree on the feather, plus to be honest it seems a little too large for the hairpiece and looks off to me, I like the first one better.

I totally know what you mean mamma! I had this problem with shoes. The ones I originally wanted were far to much money so I didn't get them. I stressed for a few months and found a nice pair but in the back of my mind they weren't the ones I loved. Turns out I found a pair almost identical to my original love, for 3/4 of the price so now I'm glad I held off cuz I can have what I want! The clip you ordered is very nice but if you have your heart set on the other it might be worth it to spend the money and get it. For me it's all about the details and you could always try to sell the first one? Just a thought

Agreed, I like the first one better.  It's more proportional and says "wedding" to me.

I have to agree with PP. I defintely like the first one better. It seems much more bridal and for some reason, the position of the long feather reminds me of a quill that you write with lol. Not sure why. I'm going with #1.

I say get the second one and make the decision once you have both in hand. Try them on and see if the colored feather really is too much.

You can always sell the one you do not use.

I think you should stick with the one your ordered. I think this for a couple of reasons..

1) I like it better. I think it is more elegant.

2) You've already ordered it.

3) I'm thinking it must have taken the seller a while to get back to you. So much so you ordered a different clip from a different vendor. That to me would make me feel the seller will take a while and possibly be difficult to work with.

4) Why spend extra money when you don't need to?

This is a very good idea.  Personally, I was drawn to the second one more (and I actually thought it was the more elegant looking one in contrast to pp's), BUT I am in agreement that the single feather is too long.  Maybe she can substitute the size of the feather along with the color?

Thanks ladies!! I have a pea head so the big feather, although I still find it super funky, would prob be too big for my head. And I do agree that if the seller took that long to respond to an email, how long will it take for the clip??
The one I ordered is lovely and really does fit my wedding. If I get it and I'm not satisfied, I'll consider the other.

I actually prefer the one you ordered!  I say stick with what you will already have and save the $$.

I like the 1st one better as well.  Also, weren't many or your earring options with pearls?  Not sure what you ended up picking but if you picked one with pearls it'll complement beautifully!

I have to go against the grain here and say that I love the second one. I actually had it favorited in my Etsy account! I think the length of the feather isn't bad...it's the perspective of the photo that's throwing it off and making it seem longer.

Stick with the first one, the second ond the feather is too big for the rest of the fasinator... IMHO!!!
