Mailing or handing out invites

I think they should all be mailed. No hand deliveries.

Mine are going to cost over $2 an invite, so as many as we can hand out we are. Anyone out of town, or that we dont see often we will mail.

Im gonna lie and say I wanted it to be more "personal" haha  sorry Etiquette but if I can cut corners on that, then I have money for booze, and Im sure that is way more important for most people

I'll hand out as many as I can.  And a few of my closer friends told me not to even bother giving them one as they're pretty sure they can get the details straight.  I see my future inlaws weekly, why would I mail it? Lol.

Hahaha.  well, I guess I'm in the minority here. I think it depends on how formal you want it to be.  And, I think, in the age of the internet/email, getting something in the mail is "special".

I'd say ours will be about 98% mailed - it would actually cost us more in gas to deliver them! haha

I think hand delivering them can be even more special that mailing them; it is a personal touch and it does save $. I'm not a fan of most "etiquette' rules so I say do what works for you, your budget and your guests

We will be mailing most of them, but people we see on a daily basis will be hand delivered.... per THEIR request! I say you know your guests better then anyone so if they wouldn't be offended, save the money for something else!

We'll be mailing most of ours strictly based on convenience, but our parents and siblings will get theirs hand delivered because we see them ALL the time.  A few of our close friends and the bridal party members who live in the area will probably get theirs hand-delivered, too.  For the others, it'd cost us more and take more time to hand deliver them, so it's easier just to mail them.

I plan on mailing all of mine. And that includes my parents, whom I see every day.

I plan on mailing every invite except my parents', because I live with them. I'm having a semi-formal wedding so I feel like that's appropriate.

We will mail some but hand deliver as many as possible. We are on a very tight budget so the most we can give out the better for us. Plus, I see my parents every day and wouldn't want to waste money on sending and they probably wouldn't be happy about us spending th money.
