I'm so irritated! We just got an e-mail from the timeshare company that the resort where we will be honeymooning will be undergoing construction starting yesterday, for the next 18 months, but that the pool/amenities/beach will remain open. Clearly they knew about this when we booked and didn't tell us! We were given the option to cancel the trip, but we just booked our non-refundable flights a week ago!
FI is super pissed because booking the honeymoon through the timeshare was my/my parent's idea and now he thinks it's going to be ruined by noise and construction and I'm kind of worried it really might be.
