Something Blue

I finished it a few minutes ago.  I admit, about 1/2 way through I definitely got into it and ended up really enjoying it.

Good! I'll have to start it this weekend! I always thought of myself as a pretty quick reader, but you have me way beat, morgan. Do they teach speedreading when you get a phd? ;-) If they do, I'd definitely get mine!

Dori - it drives people crazy how quickly I read, especially DH.  It was terrible when the new Harry Potter's would come out, as DH is a notoriously slow reader and I'd have to wait to discuss the book with him.  I don't know how I manage to read that quickly, but I think it runs in my family.  One of my sisters is the same way, but probably faster.

i'm the same way shannon. and FI is a painfully slow reader (must be the law school in him. read everything slowly, carefully), which drives me nuts. if we are reading something together, like an article on the computer, i will be done in 20 seconds, while he is still on the 3rd sentence. haha. i actually stopped buying books to read because i would get disgusted at the price, knowing i would read it so quickly that it just didn't seem worth it.

Dori - it drives people crazy how quickly I read, especially DHOMG, me too.  I read really fast.  When I was still living at home, I would read the same book as my mom (while she was reading it) and it would annoy her to no end.If I am reading a good book, I have to force myself to go to bed, eat, clean, etc.  I just can't focus on anything else in my life until I know what is going to happen.

I'm also a quick reader!KR- I also get soo focused that everything else becomes secondary to me. Something Blue...I liked it!As far as her other two books...I have read them and enjoyed them just not as much as the first two

I think it's just men in general my FI and my brother are both extremely slow readers.  I'll sit on the couch and read an entire book in one sitting.  I love to read.  Something Blue turned out really good and I'm glad Darci ended up changing through the book, because I was really starting to hate her:-)
