So I had a very busy extended weekend with several check accomplished.
Saturday was my mom's birthday. So I invited my mom, aunt and grandma to come up for the day. We went to the bridal salon, since my dress came in the week before. It fits perfectly and is exactly how I remembered it. I think the only alterations will be to hem it and shorten the straps. Even better was that they all loved it! We also went to the mall and Mom found the perfect MOB dress (on sale, even)! This was a huge sigh of relief for me because my mom is bipolar and went psycho over the dress for my sisters wedding. She ended up wearing a dress that was almost identical to the BMs dresses. So I am happy to report that Mom found a dress appropriate for a 56 y.o. MOB!
On Sunday, I went home to visit my dad's family for Mother's Day. While there, my aunt informed me that my "Something Old" would be taken care of. Apparently, every woman in the family has worn a pin that belonged to my grandmother's grandmother. And now I get to be added to the list! Can't wait to see it!
And today, I got all but 7 of our STDs in the mail! Very happy for a prodective weekend, but now it's time to start my summer internship!
