dogs in danger

I am begging my DH to please let me go get one of these dogs. He of course is practical and says we can't have another one in an apt. and reminds me that I'm allergic to most dogs but I told him we can just foster them till I can find them a better home. I Hate/love this site. Do you think they really put all these dogs down, or is it to get them adopted faster (wishful thinking>)

    I can't look at that site, it makes me cry way too much.I don't even want to think about it - but I really do think that what they say is true. :' (If we had more room I would absolutely save another dog (or 2, or 3...), but with a Lab, Rottie, the 2 of us and a cat in our pretty small house, space is already limited.

    I also can't look at this site! If the dog looks purebred and/or is still a puppy, many times rescues will make a last minute pull and get the dog into a foster home...but the dogs that are harder to adopt out often run out of time. * New_to_PGH runs out of post sniffling
