Accountability - Thursday

Did a little strength work last night, then got distracted by the chance to visit with my baby nephew lol so I guess last night was more an off night than anything - Ooops lol

I was quite proud of myself on my food choices though, we went out for dinner with some friends and they chose this place that's like over the top grill... one of those places where you can get burgers in 4, 6 and 8 lbs options lol I chose the vegetable and spinach lasagnia with a house salad as a side and water to drink :)

  • Last night I pretty much had heat stroke from no AC at work so we opted to take the dog for a walk at the beach vs going to the gym.  It was so relaxing and the dog had a blast so no regrets there!  Tonight I will hopefully do what I was planning on doing last night.

    Also we had a friend over last night so we had beer (eh) but I got a sub that had meat, peppers, onion, and was seasoned with salt and pepper.  It was a little bland so I added a tad of Balsamic Vin.  That definitely wasn't the worst thing I could've eaten!
  • Last night was my first free night in a long time so would have been perfect to get a workout in...but instead I just really enjoyed relaxing.  Got my pushups in but nothing else.  Ate really well yesterday though.  Hopefully will be able to squeeze in Jillian Michaels tonight between class and packing to see FI again this weekend!
  • Rode my bike yesterday. It's brand new so lets just say, my tush is a little sore lol. Getting ready to get some sunscreen on and go riding again. Trying to eat better, for some reason I just can't do it. My will power is so weak lol. Less than 6 months so it needs to build up for me!
  • I did not work out at all last night.  I fell asleep doing homework, so when I woke up again it was late and I still needed to finish my homework.  Didn't get done until 11:30, so that was too late to go to the gym.  FI made homemade pizza yesterday which is significantly healtheir than ordering pizza, so that was good.  I'm becoming a big fan of turkey pepparoni!

  • I did an ab workout and walked 7 miles yesterday (trying to soak up this weather and enjoy the end of my LOA) and ate really well....
    Then I stopped by my dad's to make him dinner and he was like "oh good! let's drink this expensive bottle of red wine that my boss gave me!"  And then I ate cheese and crackers too. BOOOOO!
    I just walked to the pharmacy to pick up my BC though and that was a 5+ mile round trip.  Redemption?

    Turkey pepperoni is the best!  Turkey pep with humus and pita chips/pretzels crisps are my go to snack.  I just have to put it on a plate though because if I sit there with the whole bag of bag of pretzel crisps and turkey pepperoni....game over!
  • Wednesdays are always my "rest days" since I work both jobs, so I'm busy from 7:30 am until 9 pm.

    I was planning on running today, but my body is screaming for an actual rest day (you know, one where I don't actually work for 12 hours?) so tonight I'm going to eat steak, drink wine, and watch TV.
