Anyone thinking hair yet?

Good morning!

Obviously we have tons of time, but has anyone put thought into how they want their hair for the big day?

Show us your inspiration, I'd love to see it!

Here is what I was thinking:

I am having second thoughts about just going with straight curly hair, I have straight hair stiff as a board and I know by the end of the night it is going to be straight, but I do already know my alternative(I have already worm it as a bridesmaid in other weddings), and my sister is my hairstylist so I luck out even more!

i have been thinking i want to wear it down and curly (or like half up half down). something like this:

i've been trying to grow my hair out because of this. i'm nervous because i normally have very straight hair, but that's what trial runs are for, right?

Kelly-I might do a trial run on my curly hair for my bachelorette party, I figured I would be dancing and sweating most of the night so it would be a good test lol!

I love it! That is exactly how I want mine done too. My cousin is going to be doing my hair but she is knew in the hair world so we are actually going to starrt practicing in March. I know that is super early but she wants to do it several times before Sept. 29!

that's a good idea. i figured i'd try out my hair before my shower, that way i can look really cute for it :) but it looks like the shower might end up being the same day as the bachelorette, just because my MOH and another BM are from out of town and i don't want them to have to make the drive (4 hours each way) too often!

I have 2 different inspiration pics, one for the front and one for the back. My hairdresser for the day is a friend who said she can totally make both happen at once and they would look great together :)

I have a lot of ideas but I am not sure what will work with my fine, straight hair. It dopesn't hold a curl or style well. I can't afford extensions and I am not even sure if I will have it professionaly done.

I am considering this hair wreath and I like the style as well.

I also like this but I am not sure if I have enough hair.

Finally, this may be the easiest and more flattering. Not sure how I would dress it up.

Im struggling with whether I want it styled down or up. My trials for hair are $50 each so I may just have to go a couple times to decide, even though that will probably add up!

    Some of the up-do ideas:

Not so much yet (although I hate my hair up, that's all I know), but I did book my hair and makeup artist! She's great, and she travels. I probably won't do my trial until the summer.

courtchace I have both of those pictures pinned, very simular to my faes. heres a couple other:

My regular stylist is one of my bridesmaids, and she and one of her co-workers will be doing hair and make up for my weddign party in my suite the day of, so no traveling woo hoo!

I am going to use extensions becuase I don't think I'll grow enough hair. We will do several trials, one for epics here soon, once when I go to do my boudoir shot (I won at a bridal show) and probably a few more, either at the salon, or even just on a random night, I'm pretty lucky that shes on of my bffs and her husband and FI have been besties since they were kids so I have a hook up on this ;)

oooh Aries - sooo purdy!! makes me miss my blond hair (i am naturally blond) and the length!!

Court that is such a pretty updo as well - love it!!

I have been thinking about it but it's so hard to know how long my hair will be by September. It's growing... but i dunno what to do with it. I found a few images that I liked of styles with the half bird cage veil so hopefully I'll be able to do something like ones of these...

If it's long enough I'd love something like this... elegant but not too formal:

Just because you saw it on Four Weddings, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I have that exact same picture as you OP! I'm usually not an up-do person, but that style is just so pretty! I'm trying my hardest not to chopr my hair off so I can actually do something to it for the wedding! lol Here are some other styles I have saved:

    I like something like this:

This hairstyle minus the bangs is what I'm going for, we will see once I eventually do a test run with the stylist this summer.

ETA:  For some reason I couldn't get the image to work so I have that annoyingly long link instead sorry!  To post an image in a post do you do the whole <img src="Insert tiny image url here" width="180px" /> ??

[QUOTE]I'm wanting to keep it soft and simple, but I have to have my hair back or I'll be so miserable the whole day/night. I wore my hair like the second picture to a wedding and got so many compliments.  I LOVE that look and think its perfect.  The curls came lower though like the first picture and more defined.  If Sara, is doing your hair I'm sure she'll get it right the first time ;)

I'm having the most anxiety about this because not only am I a hair stylist my fiance is as well.  He is the only one who has touched my hair in 6 years.  It's killing me to have someone else do it, but I know I'll be to much of a wreck to do my own that day.

I have a bunch of trials at a few different salons to go to.
