90 days and beating my head off the wall! (kinda longish)

Wow, I can't believe that I'm at 90 days! Time's flown by! We've checked a lot of things off recently (BM dresses, invitation wording, tuxes...) and we're meeting with our pastors this Wednesday. This is where I am beating my head of the wall. At one point I had found a website that had three options for ceremony wording. One of the options was where instead of the father of the bride (which I don't have) giving the bride away the family of both the bride and groom stood up and give them both away, for lack of a better way to say it. I thought I bookmarked the site, but didn't. I do remember giving the site to some one here. If I gave it to you and you have it, can you send it to me or post it? TIA!

Great checks! Sorry I am of no help with the website, but I hope you can find it soon! It should turn up in a google search, right? If you search for "non-traditional giving away of the bride" or something like that.

I don't have the website either, but I would think it would just be a one-line change. Instead of:Who gives this woman to be married to this man?Followed by..."Her mother and I do."You could just change it to:"Who gives these two to be united in marriage?"And the answer could be "We do" from all the parents.Just a thought.

Kim, thanks for a different thing for me to search with! I tried everything I could think I ever googled (weddings, wedding ceremony, presbyterian wedding, christian wedding, etc.) Kristen, we do have something like that that we're willing to use, but the one that I'm searching for was more wordy and explained more about family and stuff.

Sandy, did you try looking at "my posts" - it is at the top of the page next to the smiley face to change your profile info.  Maybe the post is still saved, if it wasn't that long ago.Or - is it possible you e-mailed it to another knottie?  Maybe try checking your sent mail?Hope you find it!

Kelly Rose, I did try both of them with no luck :( I even tried searching the board for words that could have lead to the post. We'll figure it out.
