Thought I would ask the Canadians about "beaver tails."

FI and I are going to Alberta/the Canadian Rockies for our HM. We heard of these sweet treats that originated in Ottawa, I believe. Have you had them? What flavors are the best? Just wondering. . . I know this is a silly post, but I am such a sucker for sweets! Just thought I'd ask your opinions!

I've heard about them but they aren't overly popular here. There really is only 'one flavour' where I am. I live near Windsor though so we're pretty much American in what's available here lol

Oh boy, Ottawa is THE place for those - especially during Winterlude (winter event).
They are very simple and way high in fat/cals but it's a yummy treat
Here is a pic of FI eating one this winter... he does like his beaver...tails lol
