Let's talk hair

Seeing Britt's pictures made me wonder, what are some of your hair inspirations? My bridesmaids are expecting me to come up with hairstyles for them (gah!) and I have no idea. Two of my girls (Caucasian) have straight hair and one of my girls (African-American) usually has her hair straightened or blown out or whatever it's called but it's basically straight. I can't think of a hairstyle for them that works. To add to that, I (Hispanic) have very curly hair (see my dress picture posted somewhere below) and my hair will not straighten AT ALL. I can spend 5 hours getting it straightened and after about an hour it's all frizzed out. I'm also not a fan of getting it straightened. I love my curly hair, but, can't think of a formal look for myself. My usual hairstyle is loose and parted to the side. My fiance has stated several times that he would like to see me with my hair down on our wedding day. I need some hairstyles that would look good with my hair (most of what I have found for 'curly' hair is for hair that has been curled and that is NOT the same thing). I'm not wearing a veil or anything like that. I would like to have a flower or two in my hair. Thoughts? Share your inspiration too.

I would think the easiest thing to do is to have your girls wear an updo if they all have the length to do that, that is.   You could wear your hair in a side bun with flowers.   For me I am AA and my hair is natural.  I am thinking of a side bun because I don't want to necessarily put heat on my hair but I won't outrule that.

I would just tell your bridesmaids to choose whatever style would work for them... I'm not a huge fan of matchy matchy hair for bridesmaids.

My hair is actually growing so I just might be able to do something more with my hair than my original inspiration.

This was what I wanted...

But my hair is actually longer than this now, so by the wedding, i'll be passed this option.

I love these too... so we'll see. I'd like something soft to go with the feathery theme.

I agree with PP's, I don't feel the need to pick their hairstyle so I told them all just to pick what they want and I gave them a picture of mine so at least they would know what NOT to do hahaha.

My hair isn't as thick as the hair in this pic so I've thought about just doing some extensions to get a more fuller look
