Got a PRESENT already!

So we sent out STD's a week or two ago, well yesterday in the mail we got a package!
I some how waited for my FI to get home before opening it. I dunno if thats "wrong" but we wanted to see what it was and who it was from!

So it was one of my Dads best friedns from when he was little and it was a skillet from Le Crueset, which we had registered for. With a cute note " Keep the love cookin"

I called my Dad to see if maybe they had sent it to us because they werent going to be able to make it to the wedding, but he told me that it was just an early present like an engagement gift!

That's awesome!  We've had one gift purchased off our registry, but it never arrived, so they must be bringing it to the wedding.


You should always open gifts when they arrive so you can make sure whatever you got is intact and so you can send a thank you

Isn't it exciting?  FMIL decided she simply HAD to get my favourite item on our registry now. She bought us this Bokum tea press pot I drooled over and a mini-food processor as well.  Such a sweetheart, she is.

That's so fun!  We did our registry around November so my mom picked all our Christmas presents off of it!  Which means I got my Keurig already and don't have to wait until after the wedding to use it.  Yay!
