Does anyone else feel like the Knot to-do list isn't complete?

Maybe I'm just paranoid...but I keep getting the feeling that the to-do list on here isn't quite complete. Has anyone else felt this way? Does anyone have a list that they think might be more complete that they would like to share?? Wink

Re: Does anyone else feel like the Knot to-do list isn't complete?

  • i agree with the thought that it's not complete. i don't use it as my only checklist, though i have been using it just to check off things that i complete. i have a big checklist that i made a while back in a notebook, but i'd love to see another checklist online somewhere.

  • It's what I use for my check list.  I've added a couple things, but for the most part I think it's pretty good.

  • I've combined that, Wedding Wires, and a list I got out of a wedding planning book I read.  No list could ever be complete in my opinion because everyone's wedding is different.  I find it best to use one as a base and then delete and add to customize to your wedding.

<div>This. There's a lot on there that I don't need and there's a lot that's not on there that I do. So I just use it as a general timeline and use my own.</div>
  • I use them as guidelines but I've totally laid out my own. There were so many things that didn't apply but it was fun to just check them off and look like I accomplished so much LOL
I had to add a lot the one I use the most on Wedding Wire, but it was still pretty useful. I don't think these sites anticipate just how many DIY projects we take on ahahha

  • I should probably start using one.  And make something up for when I'm in CA next month.  I've been pretty laid back about things.

Just because you saw it on Four Weddings, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
  • Romam,
I have a pretty complete (read LONG) checklist that we are using. I would be happy to PM it to you and you can tweak it to fit your need, if you are interested (or anyone else). Sometimes it helps to see someone elses stuff, just so you can double check your own KWIM?
  • I like TK's checklist for the most part. I've deleted a lot of stuff off of it and added a few of my own.

</div><div>Thsi is exactly what I was thinking... I'm an over planner and I can't believe I don't have one. When I'm on TK and the boards are slow I go into the checklist and check some things off but I have no offical list... Maybe that's a project for the ride back to CT!</div>
