This is a Summer Music Exchange. The only cost is shipping a burnt CD in a padded mailer. Go through your music collection and create a playlist of some of your favorite "summer" tunes. Stuff that makes you happy, makes you want to get up and dance, stuff you like to workout to. Nothing sappy, no love songs, no sad songs. Don't worry about "is this their style?" unless they specifically ask "no rap/country/rock- etc" but I think it's a fun way to step outside what you're used to and what you know to get to know new music. Burn the CD and print the list of titles and artists. Add everything to a padded mailer and send to the person you've been assigned to.
Just because you saw it on Four Weddings, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
