My First Fitting

I had my first fitting for my wedding dress yesterday!!!  All went sooooo well! i'm soo excited! Before I got there I was soo nervous! I was freaking out like OMG what if I have gained weight and now it won't fit! My sister and mom went with me and they were trying to convince me I hadn't gained the whole way there! When my dress zipped up it was like a gaint sigh of relief!

Congrats!  I was the same way when I went to pick up my dress.  It can be really grating on the nerves! Mine zipped up nicely and I have a slight amount of wiggle room so I was super happy about that.

I had no idea how hard it would be to stand on a box for an hour!  I had my first fitting Monday, and it was actually a bit draining, just standing there in one spot while they pinned me and repinned me (turns out my dress is a challenge to bustle).  At least I didn't have to worry much about it fitting, though, 'cause mine's a corset-back.

i feel like my dress is HUGE on me.. i lost about 20 lbs and i bought it a size bigger to begin with! Am i screwed or is this just as easy as any other alteration??
