I just got mine done today, but I had no idea that my dress would take over a month to get altered!! I'm glad I went when I did.

I got motivated by reading this and just made the appointment. I'll go in Monday. Luckily the dress needs very minor alterations.

I went in June- my second fitting is this Tuesday.  Glad I gave myself a lot of time because I lost over 30 pounds and it needs A LOT done.

My final fitting was 2 weeks ago.  Talk about stress to stay EXACTLY the same for 2 months  My alterations took around a month.  It was mainly hemming and making the chest area a bit more, how should I say, umm... pronounced.

I don't need much- just a hem and a french bustle. I still have to call my alterations lady, but she'll probably tell me to come in around the middle/end of August. (for a Sept 14 wedding)

My first fitting was two days ago.  Second fitting is on August 29th (9 days before the wedding).   She thinks there will be only very minor changes after that, and she can either do them while I wait, or I can pick it up the following week, a few days before the wedding.

My first fitting was originally scheduled for June 30th but we had that horrible storm in the area and no one had power so my appointment got cancelled. I'm now going next Saturday and I'm a little nervous because I feel like it's going to need a lot done (hemming, take in at the bust and probably waist, bustle...).

I had my second fitting last Saturday, but the dress needed to be taken in 3 sizes, so I needed lots of time. All being well, last fitting is August 25th for September 9th wedding.

I have my fitting on August 5th for my September 15th wedding.  I am not sure what will need to be done yet, or if I'll need more than one, which I didn't even think about until reading this post.

My wedding is 9-23-12 and my first fitting was July 7th. My final fitting/ pick up day if I choose is August 11th!

I had my first fitting back in June and my second fitting on the 4th of July.  I just had my final fitting yesterday and brought it home with me it is now perfect.  I had to get my done when I did because I am in England and needed to have it ready to go by the time I come back to the states September 2nd.  I am glad I did it when I did because it took about 6 weeks to get all the alterations done.  I would have been really stressed out about getting it back in time before I fly back to the states if I would have waited to have it done any later.

many dresses are so cheap , but rather  beautiful ,  what's more ,u can get a custom dress ,don't worry ,they won't charge extra ,it is free , in a word ,it's worth trying ,good luck

My first fitting was a week ago, 7/14. My second fitting is 8/11 and I can take my dress home then. I needed only minor alterations, hem and taking the dress in a little, and my wedding is 9/1.

Just like you, my first first fitting was yesterday. It'll be 4-5 weeks! I have no second fitting scheduled as of now. I had no idea it would take that long!
