Deep conditioner?

My hair isn't in bad shape.  I don't dye my hair or use products and only occassionally blow dry or straighten.  But, of course I want it to look shiny and soft for the wedding so I was thinking of using a deep conditioner every 1-2 weeks.  Anyone have one they like/recommend?  I don't want it to weigh my hair too much either because it is difficult enough to have my hair hold a curl (I have very straight, thick hair)!  Or is this totally unnecessary?

I use Pantene (green bottle) for medium to think hair. But.. I also dye my hair every 8 weeks and I striaghten it everyday.  I would say if your hair is already in good condition dont bother spending the unnecessary money on the deep conditioner.  For shinier hair AI would suggest to do a hot oil treatment on your hair... that always makes my hair so soft and shiny!

I love Aussie 5 minute miracle. It's not so intense that it weighs your hair down but it does a fantastic job of moisturizing your hair.
