I am sure we are all feeling the pressures. Like intense pressure. And all I need is cooperation..like from the BP, MOB, FOB, FI...and pretty much anyone else, however that is proving to be hard!!
We still have ONE GM that hasn't gotten his suit measurements yet, he lives in town, is unemployed, with a wife who is the bread winner, no kids...and pretty much no reason to be lazy and not just GO DO IT!! Excuse after excuse, and now the tux shop has started calling us concerned that he needs to get his measurements sooner rather than later, so finally I just asked them to call him (friend of ours is the manager at the shop) and GM has dodged those calls. terrific.
Then next Saturday is my shower, which I am so excited for, cuz I have nothing to do with it, other than to show up and look pretty lol! AAAAnnddd one BM is worried she "won't make it in time" even though she has known about this for like at least 4 months, and it isn't a work conflict, shes just getting back from a spur of the moment camping trip the day before and is worried she'll just be too tired. I have kind of just decided to laugh this one off, and laugh it off in her face. One of my other BM called her I think and encouraged her to change her mind, but if going would be too much of a "hassle" then I don't really want her there anyways...fine, go sleep.
I'll keep my other head banging ordeals shorter, like the fact that another BM is treating next weekend like a vacation with a minor shower blip in the middle, =but then will continue on her way. She is bringing her new BF with her, and says he will just "sit in the bar area" the entire shower...kayy...??? (not a co-ed shower btw)
I have tried to find a grandmother of the bride dress for my Nana for like two months now, and I just emailed her a picture of our fifth go at this....meaning I have bought and returned four other dresses....and she says she needs to see it in person but isn't crazy about it. There is nothing wrong with it, in fact it's lovely, much like the four other dresses which meet her high neckline with sleeves and correct color pallet requirements.
Sorry this was so long, just typing all that out makes me want to laugh even more and think, could be worse, I always read the stories about fighting families and wayward BP members. So what have your latest frustrations been? Anyone being ridiculous and difficult?
