Moh with no dress!

Ok so I'm 33 days away and find out my moh didn't order her dress even though she said she did in may! Why would someone do that.? I'm so hurt and mad. I just want this wedding over! Then I text her about it and I get no response! Nothing! No I'm sorry just nothing!! Sorry to vent just had to get it of my chest: hope everyone had a better weekend than I did :

I'm sorry you're dealing with that!  I don't know why someone would lie about that.  Is there any way she can wear a different dress?  Otherwise, as posters often say, she has chosen to take herself out of the wedding by not getting the dress.  That really sucks, OP :-(

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that.  That is absolutely astonishing to me that you would give her such an honor and she would lie to you about it.  Big hugs!  I know how hurt you must be because she is obviously your closest friend, but remember, to get married you just need your FI and someone to make it official.  Keep that as your focus and don't let her ruin your day.  Easier said than done, but a MOH is not the most important part of your wedding by far. 

I'd also be careful about talking to her while you are this upset if you intend to be friends with her after the wedding.  She must be a good friend or you wouldn't have given her the role.  She is certainly wrong in this situation but if you still want her in your life just take some time to cool off a little before talking to her.  Our emotions are already high right now with everything, you don't want to fly off the handle if that isn't your intention.

Ditto...  try to calm down for a little while before you talk to her if you intend to keep a relationship going with her.  I definitely think what she did was wrong and I hope she has a good explaination for you.  Good Luck!

Im so sorry , that really sucks. Did she say if she has a plan? If she isnt communicating with you that may mean shes no longer in the wedding  I have a BM who isnt returning any of my phone calls, only one word answers to text messages. It is really frustrating me....but as PP's said I dont want to call her now because I am already upset. Hopefully everything works out hun. Hang in there we are almost there !!!

I lost my original MOH at the beginning of the process. Basically she walked out on a job i got her at my place (which made me look bad since it was midway through her 2nd day) and then yelled at me for it (mind you it was a normal office job. Nothing crazy!).

She stopped talking to me, deleted me from FB, blocked my e-mails etc. So she cut herself out the wedding. There were just 2 girls left. A new-er friend and FI's sister. I promoted the friend and moved on.

Don't let her get you down. Forget about it for now and move forward. Soon enough you will be a Mrs and be sipping a fruity drink on your HM. sending hugs. xo

Good luck with this. My MOH is definitely tough to get ahold of and there have been instances where I didn't know if we would continue to be friends. She rarely responds to text messages and sometimes the responses take days. Good luck again and I hope it works out!

*Hugs* So sorry you are having to deal with a situation like this. You have a right to feel hurt and upset. 

I am very thankful that my MOH has really stepped up to the plate and has gone above and beyond to help me with the things I have given her to do.  We have been friends since we were both 5(so for 22 years now).  She is an amazing friend and I couldn't have chosen anyone better for the job.

uggh, know how you feel, except my MOH is my sister, and I get no responses.  I would never be that cruel, but that doesn't mean others arent.  Good luck.

So sorry that you're dealing with this. I agree, let yourself calm down before contacting her so you can have a calm and rational discussion. Worst case scenario, as PPs say, she has pulled herself from the wedding. You don't need a MOH to get married, so its not going to affect what's actually important here!
