Frisky Friday:   Do you and your FI have a similar sex drive? If not, how does the less sexual person handle the other person's desires/needs?

We have both fluctuated a lot over the past year between stressful financial situations and living with parents.  But before all that we were fairly similar though I tended to be a little friskier.  FI rose to the occassion most of the time!

I think this is one of those things that changes/fluctuates a lot. Right now we're actually remaining celibate until the wedding (we both were active previously though). But even looking back in the past, it often changes depending on what's going on in your lives at any given time

I would say in general I'm a little friskier but over the past few years I've changed a lot depending on how stressful life has been. He probably fluctuates less than I do.

Not at all, haha. FI wants sex all.the.time. I rarely want it, and I know that 99% of that is because of my BC. I tried 4 other ones before this one, all of which depleted my sex drive AND made me extremely nauseous. So we've just been dealing with it the best we can. FI has been incredibly understanding and only rarely gets upset about it. I've discussed with him my fears about him leaving me or cheating on me because of it, which he constantly assures me will NOT happen. I just can't wait to get off of this damn BC and get my sex drive back, haha.

FI and I have a pretty comparable sex drive.  I'm thankful for that.  Obviously we go through periods where one wants it more than the other for a while, but in general it's pretty equal.  But even if one of us isn't necessarily in the mood, we generally still do it.  Then  it ends with us both happy that it happened... usually.
