Anyone else remember when....(NWR)

...making out was everything!  haha  FI randomly brought up our first date in a text today and said something about how maybe he'd make out with me in a parking lot again (how our first date ended haha) and I was thinking how fun it would be!  It was also so fun when that meant everything!  FI is shy in general so he wouldn't have even kissed me if I hadn't TOLD him to on our first date.  So even after making out for like an hour he didn't have the guts to try to get me home or do anything else.  It was so cute and (fairly) innocent.  Don't get me wrong, I don't want to give up sex with FI to just make out because I love that part of our relationship but it was just a totally different phase, ya know?

Sometimes it throws me that I'll never have that first date anticipation.  I wouldn't trade the stability of our relationship and the sheer joy I have of waking up to the same man every day for anything.  And, I don't miss when those first dates TANKED.  But, maybe just because my first date with FI turned out so well (obviously) I have it glorified in my head haha.  FI is supposed to come home for a few days at the end of the month....maybe I'll reinact our first date.  This time he may get to take me home though ;-)

Oh gosh! That takes me back! lol Yeah, Ihave to admit sometimes doing the make out thing gets my heart beating faster sometimes FI and I are planning a big date at the end of the month... maybe we'll do some sweet things like that...

This past weekend we went to a dance at the ballroom where we met and he proposed. A few people were asking us how we met and it was so fun to tell them, "Right over there at that table! He was standing across the dance floor, walked right over to me, and asked me to dance!" Ah, nostalgia!

Oooooh I so miss making out!!! That was so much fun! One thing that has always bugged me about FI is how little he kisses; it's just not his thing. I on the other hand LOVE kissing. We never had those "making out" moments. I did have them with others mind you... oh boy did I ever LOL

bahahaha this is us!  We did have the make out moments at the beginning.  But they went out the window once we got to the other stuff (FI was my "first" actually because I had held off for several reasons so at 22  years old, I was crawling out of my skin and we quickly got to the other "stuff"...shoulda held out longer so I could get more make out sessions.  He mislead me!).  He isn't big about kissing where as I was a make out whore in college lol!  Sometimes when I tease him enough (ok it's complaining really) about how we never have these big passionate kisses, he'll "treat" me to some deep, long kisses while we are being intimate.  Try whining hahaha.

YES! On our first official date, there were a few times when I really wanted to kiss him and finally I was like "Alright enough already" and just did it. He was so shocked that I made the first move, and we went for a few weeks on just making out. Then, we moved on... haha.

I always joked with my friends how in middle school, everyone talked about who was "dating" who. Then in HS is was gossip about who was making out with who. In college, it was who was sleeping with who. Now, its who is getting married and having kids. Its funny how things progress.

Haha.  This is a great thread.  I totally miss those making out days.  More for the anticpation and getting to know someone new than the actual swapping spit.  FI and I were never really big about it, though.  I tend to get bored after a few minutes, and I made the mistake of telling him I thought kissing was boring sometimes.  So now it's like 2 kisses then, ok, let's get down to business.

I do point it out to FI that we don't make out like we used to and every once in a while I'll get a little bit of that action. Once you graduate on to the real stuff guys just aren't interested in kids play anymore I guess.
