September 29 Brides.....

6 months!!!!!  Holy Crap!   The 6 months doesn't get me...what the ticker will look like tomorrow freaks me out!  I noticed a Sept 1 brides ticker yesterday that said 5 months and 4 days and it totally freaked me out.  Normally I get jealous when they hit a new month (and when the Sept 22 hit a new month I start getting anxious because I know we are next) but these 5 months, 4 month countdowns sound insane!  I'm on top of things and want to be married to FI yesterday but still the fact that this is really happening still blows my mind sometimes!

I hear you! I'm excited and freaked out at the same time. I have been in a wedding planning lull. We have gotten all of the big planning done early but it seems too early to work on the details. I am worried things are going to get crazy quickly!

I know!  I was thinking I was way ahead and had time to chill.  Then someone asked how school was (go part-time while working full-time) and how the wedding planning was going, and when I started talking I realized how busy I'm about to get with NWR things and how I should have been getting more ahead with wedding stuff.  That started to stress me completely!

I am in the same boat. I work full time and go to school part time and I am freaking out. Lol. And I have other weddings this year. There are three other weddings within a month of ours. I need to just embrace the craziness.

Hahaha!  Yep!  I have 2 in July and 1 on Sept 1 (all out of town and my own is OOT)  I'm pretty sure work is going to hate me when I turn in all my PTO requests.

It's so nice to be able to talk to other people who know exactly how you feel! 

volley- I hear ya about the ticker saying 5 months...it is so crazy!  It's weird bc September seems so far away still but the countdown seems so close.  I'm working on everything I can possibly do now so that I am not stressing the month before but I have a feeling that the stressing is inevitable.

Seeing the 6 month mark is both exciting and nerve-wracking. 

I normally think nothing of the month countdowns. I was excited when it hit the year mark, but otherwise, it seemed so far off. Now that it's 6 months, I'm going into a slight panic mode. I thought I was sitting pretty there for a while, but talking to FI... we have SO much to do. I really need to start a to-do list and prioritize and start getting these things checked off.

I'm ahead of myself.  This morning a friend asked how much longer and I said "we're under the 6 month mark now."  When really, 6 months is today!

So excited!  So overwhelmed!  I told Fi yesterday that we need to start thinking about invitations, and he said to me, "I'm glad you have your knot stuff and are telling me when things need to get done, otherwise I'd still think we had tons of time and wouldn't get anything done!"  It was sweet that he didn't get annoyed by the wedding talk but appreciated me keeping us on task.

aww that is cute.  It's so sweet when they are receptive to it.  It is a nice break from the glazed over look on their face.  FI and I were on the phone a few weeks ago and I was going on and on about wedding stuff.  After a few minutes he was somehow twisting everything I said into something blatantly sexual (pls tell me your FI's do this too!) and I said "I reached your wedding threshold for the day, huh?"   He's pretty good about being involved in general but sometimes he's such a guy!

I'm the same way! We have a daughter that turns 2 in October and I keep thinking about her party then get totally freaked out when I realize that we'll be MARRIED by that time and I get overwhelmed with how much I feel like I still need to do. But like some of you, I thought I could wait on some of the smaller details, and September 29th is quickly approaching.

We've been so excited all day! I made some whoopie pies for us to eat when Tim gets home around 9 September seems so far away to me still. Its nuts that the September 1 ladies' counters will say 4 months 3 weeks and however many days pretty soon!
