I just went to my budget tool and what I have been doing is once we get the actual cost of something I update that to my budgeted cost. So my actuals + the budget of what has yet to be purchased = the new estimated budget. Anyways...I just realized that the difference between everything we have and the budget is only $100 so the few items we have are small. The freak out came when I realized though that there are basically no places left to save except the headcount. The budgeted number right now is based on 140 people (inviting 158 with a lot of OOT guests and no guest lives closer than 50 minutes from our location so really everyone who is drinking is OOT if you are going to be safe) which I think is generous (almost 89% yes rate for a sorta-DW) so it probably will be lower but I've been so cost savvy it felt weird to be done with my cost cutting. There is some room to recoup a few of my costs too but I don't want to sell anything (like have a whole extra kit of my invites but only 9 extra invites printed from the other package) until I KNOW I don't need it.
It just made things seem very final and set. Money has been our #1 stress with this wedding so it's exciting to have so much done but feels kinda heavy to see that bill!
