Church and Reception Site Booked!

Hello girls,I'm sorry for not posting for so long but I actually got very busy with some positive wedding work.We've booked our church and reception site.  We are going to be married at St. Athanasius Church in West View and the reception will be held at the Holiday Inn North Hills.  We did some real guest list/budget work and found that it fit nicely within our budget and is VERY convenient with all the out of town guests we will be having.  Along with the fact that even the local people will not have to drive afterward if they don't want to.I've also bought my dress and we've picked out the bridesmaid dresses.  I am so happy that ALL the girls really love the dress and it looks great on all of them - that was my main concern.So it seems that things are really starting to fall into place.  I thank you all for your recommendations on reception sites - it was rather stressful narrowing that down!Now on to a photographer and dj - if any of you have any suggestions please feel free to send them my way.

Congrats, those are 2 HUGE checks! As far as photographer and videographer go...check out the vendor post at the top of the page! I personally recommend Dana Scheller for photography and DJ Tony from Gordon Slagle Entertainment for a DJ! HTH!

Thanks girls - I'll be sure to check out those recommended vendors.  I check the vendor list of course but like to hear who you girls personally recommend.Kim - I checked out your page and I love a lot of the stuff you're doing - I love the candy bar idea..I will likely do that as well.  I was actually born and raised in west view as well - baptized at Assumption but then a member of St. A's most of my childhood/young adult life.  Such a small world

COngrats on booking both!  I lived in the North Hills most of my life and think St. A's is a great place to get married!  Holiday Inn on McKnight is SOOOOO convenient to everything, so that's a great reception place!

thanks girls - I grew up in NH most of my life too and couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.  I'm so happy that things are starting to really fall in to place.  One of my bm's even booked the day and place for my shower - its so excited that this is all becoming so real
