I need to catch up with our venue really badly (I'm in accounting so we did a lot of planning pre-January and now we have to do catch up after April is over when I get less busy)
I set up a list of questions and I'm epic at forgetting to ask stuff, so can you guys help me check if I have it all down?
1. Ceremony & Reception at same Venue. Need to discuss timing from when the Vendors need to arrive, to when we can arrive for pictures (its a golf course) and Guests arrive, bar open etc. Especially since we need to order invitations asap
2. Discuss menu tasting (I picked out items we want to taste, just need to schedule). Also discuss selection for appetizers and pricing.
3. Need to discuss vendor meals pricing, kids under 21 for bar costs and verify we can bring in our own dessert trays (bummer they won't let us bring our own appetizers)
4. Do they setup my centerpieces or if I bring them will they do it?
5. Rehersal dinner options (we can opt for pizza and beer at the site, they have a bar)
6. When do you need final headcount? Do you have a seating chart layout I can use and table numbers?
7. Can we use sidewalk chalk outside? Found a cute idea on pinterest where you chalk out "Tiffany & Ryan September 22, 2012" My teenage cousin was super excited and wants to do it for us!
8. Do other people use microphones for the ceremony outside? Will people be able to hear?
9. Where does my photobooth get setup? what about cake, DJ etc? Need to discuss "head table" - I think we are going to do a sweetheart and maybe have our MOH and BM and their significant others sit with us too... and put the rest of our WP throughout the room.
What are some other questions you would ask? I may already have answers but honestly, I haven't talked too much with the venue other than deposit and payment schedule.
